Welcome, Toronto Taiwanese Culture Enthusiasts!

Some people still think Taiwan and Thailand are the same country and meeting other Taiwanese is not so common. We are a comparatively smaller community then other Asian groups. I hope that through this group we can promote awareness of Taiwanese culture, food and language. As far as travel destinations go, Taiwan is Asia's best kept secret and it's also a big market for English teachers. This group would be ideal for
a) Locals of Taiwanese descent.
b) People who have taught english or want to teach english in Taiwan.
c) Anyone interested in Taiwan...thank you for taking an interest, Taiwan lovers are always welcome. You do not have to be Taiwanese to join.
